Homeownership Workshop (Financial Fortitude)

Benefit to the Community
  • Encourage homeownership for people of color and increase the number of first-time home buyers in Solano County (Fairfield, Suisun, Vacaville, and Vallejo California)
  • The workshop is designed to help those who are considering purchasing a home, especially first-time buyers. Participants receive information to help them determine if they are financially ready to purchase a home and to understand how their credit scores can impact the process. They also learn steps to become mortgage ready as well as learn about the types of available loans.
  • This workshop is facilitated by housing and lending professionals from the local community.

Note:  The 2021 workshop will be a virtual experience for participants and the chapter.
